Neurosyphilis Bibliographic review

Abstract
The syphillis is a pathology that affects the humanity from more than 500 years, in his origins they mixed the typical manifestations of the disease with the clinic presentattion from other diseases from that time, consider as a punishment sent by the gods of every civilization affected. His investigation has been stepped in the last 130 years, from the discovery, the clínical presentation, phases, etiology, the diagnostic and therapeutic methods were developed, wich evolved from the application of mercury to the correct and justified use of antibiotics. In the past was called ²the great imitator² due to his capacity to simulate other diseases. In the present day it is a disease that affects worldwide, it has been registered a few small outbreaks, nevertheless, still be a long way to consider that we have improves in his morbility, because is related to the sexual behavior of the people. Between the general population there is some groups with a much higher incidence than the rest, the men that have sex with men, almost the 63% of the all cases are described in this group. Another population that is important are the patients with a previous infection with adquired immunodeficiency syndrome or AIDS, such people the diagnose is really difficult to be make, because the syphillis simulates other pathologies and they have a faster progression than in other patients. It is vital to indicate that the Neurosyphillis can be presented in any phase of the condition, the neurological affectation depends on multiple condition of the host and his respond to treatment. There is no current recommendations to the treatment of the psychiatric manifestations of the Neurosyphillis, it is a very rare condition, there is no guidelines so i will show how it is treated in other latitudes, to extrapolate what is usefull to the psysician in case he or she have to face a patient carring this disease.
