Essence and purposes of university education

Abstract
I am moved and grateful to accept the endowment that, as Doctor Honoris Causa, is given to me by the Autonomous University of Central America, a distinction that has so rarely dispensed in his career and who hold people who far beat me in distinction and honor.
I certainly do not deserve as much honor as they do and naturally the University and its persons have given it to me as Alma Mater which they are, more for filial reasons than for objective merits. That's why I'm doubly grateful.
When the University was founded, the founders had the vision of a university other than the existing ones, because we wanted to do something different, since doing the same would have made no sense. Thus an institution with its own profile was born, as in the Decree of authorization to bear the name was collected and outlined., His specific difference would be the way of teaching and the master-disciple relationship understood differently from how existing universities practiced it, at least as practiced in general. I would like to take this opportunity to refer, therefore, to this subject, to the concept of university education and how to do it well, specifically to how to manifest the superior of university education?
