Abstract

The concentration of undertakings in groups of companies can be carried out through merger or integration, a maximum degree of concentration because each company loses its legal individuality, that is, it involves the dissolution of one or more companies to give birth to a new one or increase the assets of an existing one. However, societies are grouped together without losing that legal personality, although with limitation of their economic independence.

Control of companies within a group of companies is achieved through links of various nature. However, the link-control relationship is not accurate, since the first link can be presented without carrying the second. The first is considered the genus and the second is the species, so that while there may be uncontrolled linkage, control cannot be presented without linkage.
