Abstract

With the use of franchises in the country, the economy has been favored by its contribution to the technological development of companies, through the direct and indirect income that this sector creates to the public finances.

Understanding as technological development "systematic work based on existing knowledge with the aim of manufacturing new products, establishing new processes, establishing new services or introducing substantial improvements over existing ones", tax exemption has become a "tax incentive and legal instrument to promote the development of training programs within companies" in Chile.

In this context, the government sector in each of its instances is not agile and dynamic, driving, supporting and dissusing the benefits that franchises bring to society and the organized development of a country.
