Work stress

Abstract
Stress is a major work health disorder that is on the rise and is a significant cause of economic loss. It is a broad concept, where research efforts have oriented towards a clearer understanding of the problem, its causes and consequences. Work stress can cause frank psychological and physiological disability; however, it also has more subtle manifestations of morbidity that can affect personal well-being and results of organizational importance, such as productivity.
Stress is prevented by a healthy working environment, in line with increasingly recognized organizational principles. It is also important to monitor and manage stress by recognizing conflicting situations and early signs, both clinical and behavioral. Although stress management in particular cases depends on clinical manifestations, rehabilitation should include consideration of the work environment and individual defense mechanisms.
In every workplace it is important to establish the magnitude of the organizational impact of work stress, to assess the need to undertake a management program against it.
To meet the challenges and demands of being a worker today, the same workplace must improve the material conditions and level of its staff. The quality of the staff, their training and their comprehensive health will depend very much on the good service that can be provided.
Every job needs to have staff of both genders who meet and maintain acceptable physical conditions, for the purpose of working skillfully and skillfully, but officials are also required to have normal psychological conditions, with great emotional stability that makes them creditors to provide support and resolve or deal with conflicts of different kinds.
