Abstract

Traditionally, careers in medical sciences, including Dentistry, have been considered a profession for men. Generally speaking, in most dental schools, women tend to be in the minority. Apart from the different cultural considerations and ingrained prejudices, it would be convenient to determine if the human resources offered by the Faculties of Dentistry to real patients, who are ultimately the recipients of the trained professionals, is in accordance with what the patients request and require.
