Abstract

"The gypsy went to confess; but the cautious priest began by asking him if he knew the commandments of God's law. To which the gypsy replied: Misté father; I was going to learn it; but I heard a rumble that they were going a quita. "The author of the book asks himself:" Isn't this the present situation of the world? " And Ortega extends for a long time about the rumor that such approaches no longer apply and then people take the opportunity to try to live without imperatives, which brings demoralization, because people believe that a weight has been lifted from them, that they can act in any way. way and the party does not last long. Because a life without imperatives is a greater denial of itself than death. Because to live is to have to do something determined - it is to fulfill a task - and to the extent that the corresponding task is not fulfilled, we empty our life of meaning.
