Abstract

Various academic and political forums have made the issue of discrimination against women a topical issue. Some have contributed to raising awareness about gender issues. Although today the right of women to education, employment, and health is accepted, there are still limitations with regard to female political participation, whose origin It is found in stereotypes and prejudices that place women detached from political-social activism.
