The Unseen Architects How Your Microbiome Affects the Immune Response and Skin Health
Main Article Content
Abstract
This review explores the relationship between gut microbiome alterations and two immune-mediated conditions: systemic lupus erythematosus, an autoimmune disease, and atopic dermatitis, an immunodermatological disorder. The objective is to analyze how shifts in intestinal microbial composition contribute to the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of these diseases. By synthesizing current evidence, this article highlights the potential of microbiome-targeted interventions as emerging strategies for prevention and treatment.
