Abstract

We present the case of a 69 years male, hypertensive, former smoker and drinker, who consults to the first level of attention with a 2 months history of not productive cough, asthenia, itching, hiporexia and a loss of weight of 4 kilograms, the hemogram showed anemia, thrombocytopenia and leukocytosis with 91% blasts, he was send to the Hospital San Juan de Dios ER, he is placed to complete studies, the bone marrow aspirate, flow cytometry and Cariotype, the BMA showed a hypercellular pattern, with few stroma and a lot of blasts, the CF showed a 95% blasts with a mix diploid acute leukemia, 70% were typical of an undifferentiated leukemia and 30% of a acute lynphocytic leukemia. It was decided to treat as an acute lynphocytic leukemia.
