A pedagogical model for Virtual Education ... there's no worse blind than the one who doesn't want

Abstract

The present is an article that arises from the interest in promoting virtual education or online education at the Autonomous University of Central America (UACA) and particularly the curriculum approach that should be given to this way of transmitting knowledge. Several sources were consulted, one of which are the contributions of Herica Katherine Sierra Moreno, Psychologist and Pedagogical Advisor of the National Directorate of Virtual Academic Services of the National University of Colombia, university professor at NTCs, Didactics of virtuality and coordinator of e-learning projects.


As a result of the consultations carried out by the author, the importance of having in schools, with a pedagogical model relevant to the approach of online courses or the implementation of Virtual Education, understood this as a training process that has been developed by incorporating information and communication technologies over the Internet, in face-to-face and mid-form processes in virtual learning environments. They also offer a wide range of alternatives for acquiring skills, knowledge, skills and skills, but should be based on the principles of different theories of learning and instruction.


The author discusses in the article, with the help of Herica Katherine Sierra Moreno, the aspects that should be considered on the topics of teaching-learning, pedagogy and the didactics of virtual education from a Humanist-Technological Pedagogical Model.


It is concluded and added, based on the experience of teaching theories learning instructional design and the psychology of education, the topic of Constructivism, to end up posing a pedagogical model to use in online courses Humanist-Technological- Constructivist.  Part of the literature consulted is added at the end in case readers want to delve into the topic.
