Abstract

The accurate use of the Spanish language and the rich content that has reflected in his prose and verse, earned priest Ernesto Cardenal Martínez important international recognitions until 2012. His work goes beyond The pantheistic religion that defined his first works, between 1969 and 1971 - allowed him to rewrite canonical texts, history, mysticism and theology to the latest findings of astronomy, biology and nuclear physics to be like the great poet Nicaragua and one of the greatest writers of Christianity. Thus, overcame in his palimpsest, a variety of cultural brands whose writing is the task he completed in the twentieth century.
