Abstract

We study the concept of verosimilitude proper from the Greece of the fifth century BC. In the development of this, the relativismof Protagoras stands out and the limit of the knowledge of the sensible beings evidenced by Plato in the Timaeus. Although the philosopher always makes an option for truth, he has the limitation that ignorance of what he does not know is superior to the certainty of what he knows. That is why your proposals will be plausible.
