Anemic syndrome in the child

Abstract

The term anemia covers a number of clinical situations, where the decrease in haemoglobin (HbHg) numbers is the most relevant element, but does not indicate a specific cause. This means that anemia is not a disease in itself, but rather the manifestation of some other primary process. That's why it should be called anemic syndrome itself.
