Abstract

On the treatment of madness and mental disorders is found in the origins of the Greek Culture, first from a demonological position, because it was believed that mental disorders were the result of the possession of evil spirits sent by gods in a state of anger . For this reason, the medical centers of the time were the temples delicate to the god of healing.
