J. Guillermo Malavassi Vargas, Co-founder of the U.A.C.A. Professor for fifty-three years of Philosophy and History of Thought: University of Costa Rica, National University, U.A.C.A. , Central Seminary of C.R., was founding Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Arts and Letters of UNA, Minister of Public Education, Deputy, Executive Director of INA. Member of the National Council of Private Higher University Education (CONESUP). Current Rector, since 1976, of the U.A.C.A. Co-founder and former President of the Union of Rectors of Private Universities of Costa Rica (UNIRE). Abstract

I will begin with a text by the doctor and psychotherapist Rof Carballo in defense of tenderness, as an important point of reference for the purpose of trying to find the way of solution to a good part of the restlessness that plagues the nation.
