Abstract

The heart has its own system of generation and conduction of electrical impulses that allows it, not only to maintain an adequate frequency of beats, but also allows these beats or contractions to be carried out in synchrony between the different cardiac chambers, that is , between the atria (formerly called atria) and the ventricles.
