Abstract

As with the stars in the sky, there are transcendental themes in life that have a particular brilliance. Thus, the protection of human rights is erected today, after bloody struggles and sufferings that still darken humanity, in a brilliant constellation and true socaire of life itself in society. Nevertheless, its importance, the States, shielded in their absolute sovereignty, have vilified over and over again the dignity of the human being. Historical events such as the World Wars, slavery, genocide and so many other horrors have ended up hardening an international community, finally aware of the essential need to guarantee respect for human rights as the only way for civilized life.
