Analyze, simplify, eliminate An unavoidable path in highly competitive environments

Abstract

This article sets out the basic factors that, according to the author, should be taken into account to carry out radical and incremental improvement processes in Costa Rican organizations. It consists of three sections :, a.- Conceptualizing the Improvement Processes, where some facts and definitions are presented that clarify this issue and introduce the situation of Costa Rica within the world panorama of business competition; b.- Three activities to build radical and incremental improvement strategies, which list the stages and actions to be followed to conceive the improvement strategies and c.-Implementation: Demolishing Mental Barriers, where key aspects that affect the implementation of the processes of change in the Costa Rican environment, be it radical or incremental, exemplified by some of the author's experiences in his work as a business consultant over the last six years.
