Abstract

On the occasion of the First National Congress of Lawyers and Notaries, the importance of professional incorporation is not limited to the simple corroboration of the legality of the academic attestations of aspiring lawyers.
Likewise, it is intended that the Professional College should fully carry out its function of professional police and it will start precisely with the professional incorporation itself, an opportune time to weigh the capacity and aptitude for professional performance.
Similarly, it is desirable to understand that the role of the professional college should focus on professional police, decentralized public competence. On the other hand, it is not for the Colleges to oversee, monitor or control university tasks. Some of them are public and, in accordance with national legislation, enjoy autonomy. Others are private and therefore, in accordance with the Political Constitution itself, have a guarantee of freedom.
