Universal spread of Christianity First part

Abstract

In the two centuries approximately that this narrative covers, there is rationalism, incredulity and the loss of Christian values characteristic of modern culture; freedom of conscience and the separation between science and faith. Christianity, however, grows vigorous, in all confessions. The deepening of religious life is like never before, as well as the diffusion of Christian life to immense multitudes of men and, above all, the evangelization of all races and latitudes: Christianity ceases to be a European phenomenon, to become an ecumenical phenomenon, thanks to the awakening of the apostolic spirit in all religions, first in the Catholic and then in the Protestant ones.
