The future of Costa Rican education
Main Article Content
Abstract
Education has been an essential value in the formation of the Costa Rican being, along with the Catholic religion and the democratic sense of life.
Education is the human activity of communicating what some know for the development and survival of those who do not know, and that in the relationship of generations it is expressed as that young generations receive from the elderly the cultural acquis necessary for life, of a general nature, but imbued with particularities of the predominant culture in the region.
Unlike the animal that through instinctive life receives the guardianship of its destiny linked to the species, the human person is born half-performing, because, being a free agent with transcendental sense, others must exercise with it the duty to help their development when they cannot fend for themselves and, from the use of reason and adult life , own your own destiny. Thus it is normal for each person to receive education, quite passively, at the beginning of his life and become an agent of his own education when he reaches adult life. In this way the conditions are given to be able to manifest that education runs from the cradle to the burial of each person.
