Abstract

Intellectual property assumes that an inventor has the right to a monopoly on the market for his invention, be it an object, a use, a process to make something, a book or a song. In my opinion, this proposition is impossible for several reasons, but mainly because you should not try to protect what you cannot protect. As this is so, and the lack of protection occurs by itself, we rather criticize the attempts at protection, and we include them in the greater sin of protectionism.
