Abstract

Trying to communicate something one feels and esteems as good is as much as giving participation of fruits we opimoste the fatigue partner. The spread of good always starts happiness, and is necessarily spontaneous, according to that of the "bonum diffusivum sui". On the other hand, I am not hidden from the risk that is being risked, in the treatment and codification of a subject that, for all but not justifiable reasons, could be arid and sterile.
When I began to order my mind, for a few words, - brief words - to make sensitive what I am going to communicate, I thought that the phrase In search of lost wisdom summarized in itself what I try to support and defend and what, in my opinion, our Studium pursues insistently.
And what is proposed to the Studium Generale Costa Rican to seek to restore, to restore lost wisdom? Some kind of certificate. Common Studies that enable the broad proven path in its effectiveness by generations and generations of peoples and peoples; with the intention and purpose of re-establishing the missing link that will put the young university student in contact with universal culture. Or put another way: with the Common Studies there is a firm challenge, with clear goals; perhaps in a somewhat weakened voice, not by deficiencies in the strength of his approach, by his cry and reason, but by the deafness caused by the means in which we live; rather, by the way - let me say - you live us. In short: we want to establish a proven "Paideia of Knowledge", as a lady, and at the same time as "ancilla" of the "Paideia of Sciences".
